The balcony bench comes securely packaged in a thick cardboard box. In the box you will find 7 parts, 12 stainless steel socket head bolts and an Allen wrench. Watch the assembly video on our YouTube channel here.

Yes, we can make a custom-made balcony bench or in that sense custom-made balcony furniture for you. There is an average waiting time of three months for this because it is produced in Indonesia. For more information, see our custom furniture page or contact us directly.

No balcony bench cushion is included as standard. You can purchase cushions separately in the webshop.

The balcony bench is not 100% waterproof because there is minimal space left between the wooden slats. In the event of heavy or long rain, the storage space will not remain dry, but it will not become soaked. Of course, this also depends on how sheltered the place where the bench is located is and how long it rains. We recommend that you do not place items in the storage space that should not get wet in wet weather or during wet spells.

To provide the best protection for the balcony bench, we recommend treating the bench yearly with a high-quality teak sealer such as Teak Wonder Teak Sealer or Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector. Treatment is best and most convenient when the balcony bench is not yet assembled. This allows you to fully treat each individual component before assembling the balcony bench.

Teakwood is naturally very resistant to the elements such as sun, wind and rain. The honey-brown colour will turn into a platinum-grey colour in 8 to 12 months.
However, since wood is a natural product, the wood surface will show tiny cracks due to drying and working. This is a natural and not harmful effect. Yearly treatment with Teak Wonder Teak Sealer or Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector provides better protection against drying out and discoloration and thus guarantees a longer life

The balcony bench is produced in Indonesia by a highly experienced furniture manufacturer. The balcony benches and every other product we import is covered by a FLEGT licence.
