Rubio Monocoat White Handpad – 10 x 15 cm

This handy white handpad is used for manually distributing the Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector on garden furniture such as The Balcony Bench. You apply the rubio monocoat with a brush or sponge, distribute it with the white handpad and polish it dry with a dust-free polishing cloth.

Combine with the Scrubby handpad holder

You can optionally combine this white handpad with the Scrubby handpad holder. This is convenient because it allows you to avoid direct skin contact. It is also easier to spread and/or buff out on longer and even surfaces. Rubio monocoat is not harmful to your skin; however, it saves dirty hands. Even without the Scrubby handpad holder, we always recommend using a glove.

How should you use the white hand pad in combination with Rubio Monocoat?

Watch this handy video showing how to apply Rubio Monocoat to wood with a sponge, spread it and smear it onto the wood. You can also use the handpad for this instead of a sponge.

WARNING (SPONTANE DESTRUCTION AFTER USE I.C.M. LINE SEED OIL)

Rubio Monocoat is an oil based on linseed. Linseed is a natural product and therefore not flammable by itself. On a cloth or hand pad, however, it does pose a danger. The oxidation of oil creates an accumulation of heat that can spontaneously ignite the cloths or hand pads used (scalding effect). These cloths or hand pads should be immersed in water after use!

Unfortunately, these cannot be shipped via standard parcel services.
