Teak sealer from Teak Wonder
New teak wood is subject to rapid aging if it is not cleaned daily with fresh water or if no suitable protective product is applied. Most teak protective treatments on the market are oil-based stains that have several drawbacks:
- Teak can be made false dark
- Stains absorb dust and dirt
- In warm conditions, the oil is brought to the surface and the deck can become smooth and greasy
- It can cause nasty stains on clothes
How much teak sealer do I need?
As an indication; 1 liter of teak sealer is enough to apply two coats to a balcony of 100 x 65 x 90 cm. Both inside and outside.

Teak Wonder Dressing & Sealer is safe and durable
Teak Wonder sealer and dressing is a non-oil-based product that gives a pleasant golden color without unnecessarily darkening the teak or producing that familiar fake-colored look. The special components in Teak Wonder Dressing & Sealer seal the wood, block the penetration of dust and dirt and protect the natural teak oils from ultraviolet rays, slowing down the oxidation and discoloration process.
The sealing treatment helps prevent the penetration into the wood of liquids such as wine, oil and fat. As long as they don’t dry up, these liquids will be much easier to remove. Teak Wonder Dressing & Sealer does not make the teak shiny or smooth, doesn´t obscure the teak unnecessarily and does not build up dirt and dust on the wood surface.
Teak Wonder Teak Sealer is quick-drying and odorless. It is recommended to apply two layers (with heavy brush strokes) on new teak. If teak is old or dirty, the wood must first be treated with Teak Wonder Cleaner and Teak Wonder Brightner to allow the wood to dry completely before the sealing process begins. You can apply another layer of teak sealer in 8 to 12 weeks without repeating the cleaning process. The product must be thoroughly stirred before use. Immediately wipe off any drops or marks on non-teak surfaces.
